I was in New York in June. I went to the local gun store with my brother. He wasn’t allowed to hold and look over anything because he’s been waiting for his permit for over a year. I was allowed to handle anything I wanted because of the Tennessee drivers license. I didn’t even have to show my carry permit. I asked what happens if I buy one. They would ship it to an FFL in Tennessee to transfer it to me. They can’t sell him one to use in Tennessee because he lives there. He can come to Tennessee and buy them here with a background check and leave with it. The system is stupid.
