I don't know, 1945 wasn't very long ago at all.
I'm curious to see how Muslims hating Jews are faithfully following their scrptures.
It seems like that as long as Muslims have ruled certain lands that there would be no religious minorities in those lands if the scripture called for persecution. What am I missing?

Allah’s Messenger said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. ‘O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.’”
(Sahih Bukhari 4:52:177; see also Sahih Bukhari 4:52:176; Sahih Muslim 41:6985)[1]

How did all those religious minorities survive for hundreds of years or longer if scripture said to get rid of them?
That was a very long 'phase' wasn't it?

How do you think the Jews survived in the 2000 years BEFORE Islam; surrounded by enemies?

Another bad straw man. It's not okay. The point, as you very well know but want to weasel out of, is that's not an instruction for Muslims to hate Jews. You claim "Muslims hating Jews are faithfully following their scriptures." Where are the scriptural instructions for Muslims to hate Jews?

I don't think its a stretch to say the shelves are empty if the only thing on them is rotten food... that's the same thing as empty.

if you wanted to play some smart arse pedantic game the better point would be to point to the one good tomato they talk about. "see it isn't empty there is still a tomato"

but I also didn't take it to be that EVERY shelf is completely barren. just that there were empty shelves, and based on the pictures its not just one shelf or even aisle that is empty. but they do try to crop out the pictures of aisles with food, based on the article and quotes it sounds like its mostly the junkfood stuff that is readily available.

You're still misreading it... it doesn't say "all" shelves are completely empty. It would seem reasonable that some shelves could have product while some could also be completely empty.
