New York City

I’m sorry but if we’re playing that game you are responsible for and believe everything that comes out of the westboro Baptist morons.

Hey have you ever been to broadway in Nashville and seen the stripper pole busses that have beds in them for hookups. Clearly all straight people should be judged based on the moral standards set on those buses.

You’re smarter than this bigotry
I never said anything about LGBT, which is certainly against my Christian belief, butlike I said people are free to their own will..

but you sit there and mock my Savior, you bet I am going to call it like it is.

The behavior of people in your religion has earned the hate coming back at you from those people.

You might try approaching them as the Messiah would have.
Here’s a hint , calling them sinners and telling them they’re going to hell probably isn’t the way to go as you too are a sinner and based on Matt 7:21 everyone should check there arrogance because you could be in hell beside them….or even instead of them.

Calling out that trash and sin isnt bigotry and isnt sinful.
I never claimed I am not a sinner myself, so that is BS accusation, and you know nothing of my personal discernment.
You are judging me, so quite sanctimonious of you.
I am done with this.

Well you said you were a follower of Messiah.
He never told you to call out anyone. In fact he told you the opposite. He told you to worry about the plank in your own eyes. And he also said that it should be those without sin who cast the first stone.

Dude I’m not judging you. I have no right to do so. I’m positive my sins would outweigh yours….if that were how things were measured.
I’m respectfully asking someone I like to stop judging and condemning others as it’s counterproductive to the cause of Messiah, whom I serve.

It is a delicate balance. You shouldn’t browbeat people; but you should at least make an effort to teach about sin and righteousness. If you know a bridge is out ahead, you should at least wave your arms and warn people.
But only God can ultimately convince people of their sin; so the best we can do is pray for them. But we do have a responsibility to not be silent when souls are at stake.

BREAKING: Zohran Mamdani is now getting harassed by his own supporters at events—just for admitting that Israel has a right to exist.
No matter how much you pander to Islamists, they’ll always demand more.

That’s not correct
That’s the Christian interpretation but messiah rejected that himself.
Those who reject the law and practice lawlessness don’t know the Messiah and are rejected by him.

Messiah speaks and he’s talking to people who believe they are his followers.

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [s]miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

You are saved exactly the same way you always have been. By grace.
The “New Testament” teaches the return of the sacrificial system with the return of Messiah.
What’s that about?
Ok

At least my interpretation of the issue is that the Old Testament has God revealing Himself by establishing a small group or tribes as His chosen people and then using those people to set the stage for, and eventually to produce the Savior of the entire world. Or as the told Abraham „through you shall all the nations be blessed“.
Even though Israel had fulfilled its purpose through Jesus, God NEVER abandoned His everlasting covenant with Israel. It is beyond tragic that throughout the majority of years since Jesus, it was the church that seemed to lead the antisemitism. As such, it was us persecuting and killing our elder brother of faith
OK

Christianity is not limited to the New Testament and cherry-picking the nicer parts to act like it's a superior religion is stupid. Also has this in it
I appreciate the response. I think I understand what you are saying. All I can reply is that I think this is a flawed interpretation of prevailing Protestant doctrine.

As for the passage quoted, which for some reason did not follow my "reply" here: That quote is from a parable told in scripture (Luke 19) that many theologians interpret as a call to use one's gifts wisely and faithfully. It was not an instruction from Jesus to his disciples to kill all unbelievers. Indeed, upon Jesus' approach to Jerusalem after leaving Jericho He showed empathy, weeping at the city's failure to recognize the coming of God; He didn't order his disciples to start killing unbelievers.

Jesus' formula seemed to be giving grace to the humble and the law to the arrogant.

Hey lets celebrate the pride of sinfulness, lewdness, and blashemy. Ah, that is fine, but criticize it, get out.

Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Mark Cuban... all the douchenozzle billies that contributed to Kamala ding at all say hi

A few examples does not make your statement correct. Through volume of money specifically, there have been more donations to the Republican Party. Even then, those billionaires supporting Kamala doesn’t really constitute as a lefty, as Kamala isn’t a lefty.

And no, just because they are more left than republicans doesn’t mean they are a lefty.

If you say so.

And I missed this little gem... "Kamala isn't a lefty"????? WTF is she then, because there ain't anything close to center about her.

Since the election though, there have been many that have swung the other way, but still more leftists than right.

One of the highlights of my life was happening to be in NYC with my sister and my wife during pride the day after the SCOTUS ruling striking down gay marriage bans. Vibes were at an all time high and no one was struck by lightning, fortunately.
Ain't that sweet.

She is a center left establishment corporate democrat. That is not the same as a lefty (ie Bernie, AOC, etc).

True, but he also told people; both great and humble to go and sin no more.
It is interesting though that I don’t think ever had to tell anyone they were. I think His mere presence and holiness spoke wonders to people’s hearts

Wrong interrogative. 'where' is what I want to know.
Ironic when you consider the thing that would let John Galt know he had succeeded…..
„He stepped to the window and pointed to the skyscrapers of the city. He said that we had to extinguish the lights of the world, and when we would see the lights of New York go out, we would know that our job was done.“
Looks like that may come to pass before too long with that Marxist lunatic probably becoming mayor
