Special teams still aren't special, Foster is still a fumbling macchine, and Chavis still plays that Mustang that always gets us beat!!

Totally agree.
Chavis needs to go.
Arian can't hold on to ball inside 10 for some reason in pressure situation.
Crompton choked.
4 int's and can't win..
ugh.

Defense did enough to win. This one is blamed entirely on offense. Had offense scored enough touchdowns, Daniel Lincoln wouldn’t have to worry about those long assed kick attempts, and wouldn’t be the scapegoat now.

They better nip this one in the bud real quick. Now Vols can play spoiler all year long, and if you get lucky and win the rest of your games, this loss can almost be forgotten!!!

Tennessee was mad they couldn’t get respect, now they are truly going to have to catch up to teams to get the respect.

Was it I, or did this new OC lack creativity in his play calling. Wasn’t that supposed to be the new hype?

Crompton never rolled out of the pocket. I thought he was supposed to be Heath Shuler's protégé?

I don’t understand this!!!

Going to be a long year. Crompton was missing by a mile. Defense played well til we went to that stupid Mustang. How many times must Chavis get beat by it to stop using it? If you don't pressure the QB, you get picked apart. Crompton was just awful and Foster inside the ten =fumble!!!

I hate to say it, but we're middle of the pack in the cycle....90's UGA like. And you can change coaches and flip players and do whatever you like, but it doesnt change until the cycle comes back around to you. That's how cfb tends to work

Montario is a real RB. If crompton could ever get the ball to Warren he would be great. WR's are as good as advertised. OL is horrible; Ainge made them look good last year. QB play just offends me. All of you talking smack about Ainge can eat your words. Finally, our defense is great, but the DC sucks. How much do they have to do to insure a win? The last time i watched a TE tear us up like that was 2001 UGA, so Chavis has been here 7 years longer than he should have been. Im just tired and disappointed.

This reminded me of last two year all over.

-Still no pash rush from our D-line. Iirc the only sack I saw was by a linebacker.
-(This one REALLY ticks me off) No second-half defensive adjustments!!!!!!!!! Why does this ALWAYS happen?
-Another critical Foster fumble. Every Tennessee fan with more then a casual interest...admit it, you thought about how he always fumbles at the worse times.
-Lincoln really has cooled off since his hot start last year

But the one thing that really stuck me is how much Crompton reminded me of his performance in the '06 Ark game. When he felt pressure, he got nervous and made poor throws. If he cant handle the pressuse of UCLA, what happens when we play at Auburn or at Athens?

We would have won tonight with Ainge at qb. Period. I hope this shuts up all the Ainge haters.

Yeah, it seems like he just can't handle the pressure. GL situation tonight, the end of the Penn St game, the SCar game. I'm really think that fumble at Florida last year that killed our momentum was more his fault than Ainge's. If only Hardesty was healthy his entire time here so far.

Why did Chavis go to the prevent defense on that last TD drive? UCLA had plenty of time to run the short stuff.

Thats the vaunted Mustang package and it doesn't work. Chavis loves it though. We need a house cleaning.

How long is everyone gonna blame Chavy Wavy for our losses, and the defensive calls?... Doesn't any1 think that maybe CPF might have something to say about what type of defensive calls we make?...And what kind of defensive we run during the game?...Come on..Wake up and realize that the head coach is responsible for everything on the sideline, everything in the press box, and everything on the field. This has been going on for years now. Lets place the blame where the blame is due...

Because they were beating us over the top all night, right? I don't know why we didn't blitz all night...every time we blitz it was an INT waiting to happen.

I do have to admit, I was finally very impressed with Montario tonight....and I'm usually the first one to say something bad about him. He seems to come out in some games where foster's not so great. If he could just do it consistently then I'd be very comfortable letting him take over starting RB next season

How many years does it take to learn that playing a zone against a whack ten school doesn't work?:banghead2: Crompton looked like a true freshman, had some awful throws, and won't look off his primary receiver.I didn't see anyone getting in his face about his unacceptable play.Neuhiesel got in his 3rd string QB's hiney about his stupid throws. The VU and UK
games aren't looking so good right now.Did Crompton call an audible all night?UCLA found out that pressure gives him fits and played Blitzburgh ball all night and he sucked. The SEC schedule is going to give that fella nightmares for the rest of his life. It's going to be a long season.
