Black? Are you on crack? UT colors are orange and white. Besides, if we incorporated black into our unis, then GA fans would just say we're copying them. Leave the unis alone! And for God's sake, no more orange on orange unis EVER!

Given the noise level in the stadium and the fact a horse can be trained not to get spooked, I don't see it being a problem. With that type of thinking I wonder how the west was ever won.

I can't for the life of me think what it might be, but I have a feeling we'll see something new that has that CLK touch to it. CBP has been successful in that department, and no one has seemed to mind the change. Not implying the tradition on the basketball side is anything close to that of football, but most of what Bruce has done has been a welcomed change by this Vol fan. Either way, I am excited to see what CLK may have in store for us.

I like the idea of the "I will give my all for Tennessee today" signs at the entrances.

How about putting a pictures of Urban Meyer and Nick Saban in each of the urinals? It would sure help me putt for par. I might even get an Eagle!

I heard some where that one reason why the away teams bench is on the press box side is that our coaches in the press box can look down at the other teams coaches and look at what they are drawing on the white boards that the coaches sometimes draw plays on. I want to say that one of the ESPN announcers/broadcasters said that.

BTW Volmanbill, what happened to your post this morning it was funny?

There is a rule about linking to blogs or something that I wasn't aware of. So, it was removed. I did find a link to the story on the AJC sports page.

The all orange unis S U C K. I hope to God they trash those and find some cooler alt unis. We really did look like Creamsicles in the 07 SECCG. Also, changing up our look every now and then is a great thing. If we never did anything different, would we have ever run through the T? Hmm...

No black, please no black. The all-orange is pushing it, we never seem to play great in all-orange.

How about throwbacks? Bring out some roughneck looking uniforms from 60 years ago.

Whats wrong with our Traditions now? I mean we got rid of the problems. Our traditions are awesome. The Vol walk, Running through the T, Vol Navy. I mean the only thing I would love to see at Neyland is everyone making that the loudest place in the NCAA. I have sat there at a FL when they won their 1st NC and when we had them pinned on the goal line all I could hear was a very loud ringing in my ears. THats what I want back. So come on Blue hairs! Get your breathing techniques down so you can scream loud. As for the rest of us lets have a few cold ones to lube up the vocals! lol Go Vols

Actually I am familiar with that tradition and always thought it was a great thing when I was young watching the Vols.

Being from Shelbyville, TN, I know walking horses. Davy Crockett and walking horses are not compatible at all. Trust me, you wouldn't see Davy on these steeds at the Alamo.

They moved the Band. Did'nt they move some of the students to the South endzone? Maybe they could put them on the other teams bench and confuse them enough that we could score.:good!:

I have noticed going to away games that every other team uses their Jumbotron much more effectivley to pump up the crowd on Defensive possesions. Whether it would be us getting old players to get on there and say, "VOL fans turn up the VOLume", or for them to show a picture of smokey snarling and make a loud dog howl/snarl. I think that would be a cool thing to do.

Someone on this board suggested putting "I will give my all for Tennessee" signs above every section entrance of Neyland, for fans to slap before they go in. I thought that was really clever.

That's one of the best suggestions I've ever heard. Visiting fans won't understand it which makes it even better.

They'd have to REALLY gorilla glue those suckers to the walls though, too many drunk mouthbreathers will want one for home.
