For y'all that can't see, lol.
Thoughts on number assignments:
- Wideman at 6'5", 220 is gonna look intimidating AF with the 1.
- Baron's wearing DB's #9, big shoes to fill there.
- Calloway as a WR wearing 9 seems right.
- Key Lawrence.....in the 14. Okay, I'm in.
- Somebody said on Twitter that they like the progression of the 18 from Warrior to Slaughter, and I definitely agree with that.
- Hyatt with 21 just feels weird to me. IDK what it is
- McDonald is a safety, so 29 works.
- There was this Vol RB a while back that did great things while wearing the 33. Can't think of the dude's name though (yes, that's sarcasm). Hope Small winds up being the second coming of that guy!!!
- Beckwith. 34. I don't get it. Not really a stereotypical TE number IMO. I know he wanted the zero, but there's rumors that Gray wants to switch from 3 to 0, IDK.
- Whitehead wearing 35. Mmkay. Fitting number for a bruiser back with the possibility of switching to defense.
- French with the 40. Good # for a LB.
- Tee Hodge with the 44. This is a good thing to me, it just fits that "sledgehammer" RB that's GOING to get those tough yards and there ain't a thing the defense will do to stop it.
- Albright @ 46.....it's a definite long snapper number.
- Eason in the 55. My second-favorite NFL LB ever (Derrick Brooks) wore 55. I want to know what I have to do for which deity for Eason to be Tennessee's Derrick Brooks.
- MoJo, IMO, is gonna bring back fond memories of a former LB that also wore 56.
- Omari Thomas in 58 is.....iunno. No real thoughts on this.
- Robinson/Spraggins have good, solid OL numbers. That's about all I can say.
- 89 is gonna take some getting used to being worn by a monster DT.
