I think that most of these were revealed in the 2013 season? I don't remember too many people loving a lot of these.

Those are the white pants in the picture. Just a lighting effect. They shot the photos in a dark room, only using the flash to illuminate the player.

J Mac, since Butch Jones got here tell us how many times uniform combos for the upcoming season were introduced in this way.

Or have we had the Butch Jones version of a fashion show? A picture thrown out on twitter means nothing, brother. When they tell you what you are seeing is what they will be wearing? Then, we need to have discussion.

Stay away from the fire alarms, security now knows who you are.

Don't read too much into that, Nike just hasn't announced all of its special programs yet. That is all I mean, there are no changes to the standard orange, white, or smokey grey.

No way. Those are clearly blue and black. I bet if we put it out on Facebook a lot of people would agree.

Discussion is open regardless. This is a forum. This isn't even close to dumbest thing posted on here (before you say you didn't mention this, I know). Take a step back and relax, officer.

I think the only way the grey pants would work with the orange jersey is to make the numbers grey to match. That might be a combo worth looking into.

Myself, along with so many Vol fans, have been dying for orange helmets (metallic or matte/flat preferably) w a white Power T and stripe as an alt. I know there will be plenty of traditionalists that will throw a fit when it finally does happen for a game.

Reverse orange helmets, white jersey, white pants (maybe these helmets could actually make the orange pants look good...don't hate the orange pants, just not my fave) would be nasty. I love summer and dread the cold and dreary winter...however, the anticipation for this season has me looking forward to fall more than ever...and I do actually like fall, just hate that winter follows it :hmm: 100 degrees > 40 degrees any day

I don't care what color combos they use as long as they get rid of that stupid decorative
checkerboard nonsense on the pants and helmet. OK, keep it on the helmet, not the
pants. See, I can compromise. :rock:

The only other school that decorates uniforms is Oregon, but in their case the colors are so obnoxious they need it.

Would maybe be different if we had invented checkerboards.... alas.

We will never see orange helmets. It's a color-match nightmare.

Orange jerseys/pants/whatever look the same under any lighting. Orange helmets on the other hand, they may look identical to the orange jersey in the daytime and look like a completely different color at night, or vice-versa.

The checkerboard pattern is the best new addition ever. It make the uniform more sleek.

I hope they never get rid of it.
