Rumors floating that it was actually CMK that had a problem with Smith.

If that is true and it was Monte that had the problem with CMS then I am perfectly fine with what happened.

If Monte doesn't like things then I have trust his judgement because it's hard to argue with the success that he has had.

I can't beleive that kns interviewed Hammy but failed to even ask him why Smith is leaving, or to go to other sources to get the information.

Im gonna guess that with all the media attention going on around Kiffin, he figured it would be best for him to speak

Really? Is it that hard to believe that their "reporting" is pitiful at best?

It would just seem that with all thats going on right now, with the secondary violations and the fiasco thats going on in the athletic department, hammy probably wanted to sweep this under the rug and make it a non-issue.

Do you think that the transition will have many negative impacts on the training programs that the guys were already under, Larry? Any impact on the camps?

Not really.. I'm sure the assistants are pursuing a program that the coaches want and it is also one that Ausmus will execute.

After all the complaints about J Long, these guys want same program he followed as much as Fulmer would let him.

Not sure what you mean about camps?? Camps finish up this week..

That's interesting about the Johnny Long comment. What is our staff's basic philosophy, besides working them early and hard?

I mainly just meant Smith's absence at the camps. I doubt that the kids would really know the difference, but just wondering if any of the "drama" (if there is any) was apparent with his absence at the camps.

So you are basically saying Smith was apparently hard to get along with.

That's the word on the street. He apparently stepped on a few toes of people who held higher positions than he did.
