Big Tennessee fan. Love the area and the culture. I like to consider myself a student of the game and I sometimes over-analyze things. I'M OLD but still have a heart-beat and an opinion. I do think we made a lot of improvements as the year went on. I think our defense found itself and kept us in a lot of games. I think our o-line was a work in progress but started to show signs of improvement. We have a very good rb and an under-utilized receiving core. Obviously the coaching staff knows we did not have an accurate passer or passing game. All we did was run at the end of the year. We have a couple of run first qbs. If we could have incorporated some passing we would be pretty solid. Looking in to next year I hope we find a passer that can utilize a much improved o-line a good rb and good receivers. Our defense looks to be solid for awhile. Not sure if we would look at grad transfers for the qb spot but as I researched a couple there are some opportunities. Both Monmouth and Lehigh qb's are available. I am a Patriot and Ivy league football junky. These kids play for the education first and football second. True meaning of student-athlete. I'm a grad also so I am bias...lol. Kids who have college football experience especially at key positions seem to hold a much better value than a high school kid. just my opinion. I do think there may be some FBS qbs that are graduating that have eligibilty that would be nice to look at also. Just want to be back to the way Tenn football use to be.

Welcome first off, however, all we did was run at the end of the year? I don’t think JG is a world beater but he did throw for 400 yards against Mizzou. We didn’t have much offense to speak off against UK But we were 7-8 through the air with 2 passing touchdowns. Against Vandy it came an absolute downpour. Don’t think it’s fair to say we didn’t pass or utilize our receivers. I’m doubtful a QB from the Ivy League could come in and win the starting job.

He’s a spy from Indiana.

Go back and tell your people to play soft coverage, we are really weak at WR.
