Just curious since they are offering plenty of stuff in grey, are other sports keeping it as an option and Pruitt is saying the football team will only wear orange and white? Or are all teams going back to only orange and white?

I'm holding out for the canvas Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars trimmed in orange with the power T replacing the star.

GO BIG ORANGE!

Not a fan, looks like a basketball/running hybrid. Who cares if the bottom is orange? That will be nasty after walking to one game!

Last year's shoe was better.

Also, they are getting rid of tne grey jerseys, so dont understand th color scheme.

As many comments as I saw on here about being glad the team’s not wearing grey anymore, I would’ve thought no one would buy these.

I'm a shoe fanatic and I was late to this limited edition shoe. Looking for the Vols Zoom Train Command shoes. If any of you know where to purchase at a reasonable price please let me know. TIA

doesn't matter if the players wear grey or not, it doesn't stop apparel from being grey. Look at some nike bama polos in grey but bama doesn't wear grey on the field.

Pruitt forgot to tell Nike we aren't using Smokey Grey anymore.

Some people are funny in how they take everything so literal. Simply look at the Alabama version of this shoe and how their version is in a lighter gray. Think Alabama will wear that color jersey this year? Ha!.. Just because Tennessee won't be wearing gray jerseys doesn't mean that there will be zero apparel in gray, anthracite, silver, black, etc. and that it won't be worn on the sideline. Just look at other schools that have Nike deals, like Alabama, that have never worn an alternate uniform. They always have a lot of apparel available in color other than school colors and most of the time you'll see it on the sideline. Sometimes the head coach will even wear it. Also, just think back to the Adidas days, before the gray jerseys, and how much black, gray, silver, and graphite apparel was out there over the years. It even happened throughout Fulmer's tenure as coach. It gives fans AND players options on what to wear. If only school colors were options then it would be PRETTY boring.

So, use your memory people. Using different neutral colors in apparal has been going on for YEARS and I'd be willing to bet you'll still see alot of gray apparel on the sidelines. Besides, most coaches want players to be able to easily identify certain coaches on the sidelines Just check out Saban and Sarkisian...
