New Suit

Just find what you can afford that fits nice and that you feel good in Gonz and that doesn't stand out in a negative way. Don't let anyone tell you that you need a black suit or pinstripes etc etc. Just focus on your presentation.

I've seen cfo's, ceo's, cio's etc all pull off one of these and look dope doing it.

Thanks man. I got all I can ask for. The ability to come in and sell myself.

If you haven't before study STAR interview questions. Even if they do not ask questions in this vein when possible phrase them in this format. It's concise, specific, and is one of the best ways to stay on topic.

No, but I just looked it up. It looks effective twofold. Keeps you on topic plus allows you to carry the interview with positives.

My company doesn't use the format but I do and it seperates the wheat from the chaff quickly. It can be powerful if you've thought through topics before and a nightmare if you haven't.

It tells them you know how to get to what is most important: results. It supports you being the reason they were achieved.

I can see it being very effective. I wish my current employer used it. We have hired some idoits.

Exactly. One of the things I have read from multiple sources is that your job is to carry the interview wherever they lead.

My thought is that even if they don't use it, I should during if the situation arises.

Exactly. Come up with several stressful scenarios you've handled well and where you or your team were succesful and just know the specifics. Then you can tailor it to multiple scenarios or questions. Even if they ask vague stuff like tell me about your last job you can add them in as support.

Thanks. This is solid advice.
