If we score first we should run a wing-T offence and bleed the clock until the game is over and wear them out. We cannot let coaching decide this game we have to depend on our experience cause I feel that's our strength.

Wouldn't moving to a wing-t midgame be relying on a coaching decision? And an unprecedented one at that.

But hey, it worked for Kentucky right? Just run something you've not shown in 30 years.

Just snap it to 45 and let him ram it for 4 yards a pop....plus he'll play LB on D. Old school football, right there.

Seriously, UT did something similar in 1994. The week before UT lost its QB (Jerry Colquitt) on the 1st drive of the game at UCLA. The next week UT played at UGA. Todd Helton started at QB and I think he threw less than 10 passes all game. UT ran it about 50 times for 350-400 yards that night. That O-line was incredible back then.

I do think we'll see some "trickeration" against UGA. Nothing too far off base but I bet AJ throws a pass from the wildcat.

I think there could be execution problems with that ! Hell, there are stretches in the game we can't execute the offense we've been running the past four years!:rolleyes:

Four Verticals on every down with CP, Hunter, ZRo, and Pig as wideouts. One of them will inevitably beat his man and be wide open for a TD. Always throw on 4th down, too. Once they catch on, alternate between draw plays and deep passes.

Also, call a toss play every once in a while to the long side of the field--those usually go for TDs.

Finally, we should stay in a Cover 2 defense for the entire game, unless it's 3rd and 1--at which point we should send both safeties and all 4 linebackers on a blitz.
