Yeah, and I suppose if she got her info from that nursing administrator's old report, she would've said that he's cleared to go back home.

I guess we'll still have to wait for other media to mention the same improvement before we give this article to much credit though.

Nothing new in the story. It's by Beth Rucker out of Chatt, I think. It says charges are pending further investigation. I think we all knew that. Only thing new is Robert Capouellez's condition is listed as stable as of today.

Is that Wes' twin sister?

If you think the News-Sentinel is bad, you should have read the now defunk Knoxville Journal.

We all have our opinions. I remember when the Journal was the a.m. paper and was winning all sorts of awards as an independent newspaper. Then the Scripps-Howard owned KNS switched to mornings and slowly squeezed its independent competitor into irrelevancy.

I still remember buying the KJ Sunday paper the morning after UT beat Bo Jackson's #1 Auburn Tigers. Ironically it was right around the corner from the bar in this story.

Interesting to hear that the officer injured is doing better. The local news said that nothing has been released on his condition since Saturday. I hope the improvement is truth, and not just an internet rumor.
yep .. :good!:

I believe will are all just kidding ourselves if we think that they will be no more charges filed. Somebody will pay for the officer laying in the hospital.

States that there will be more charges brought tomorrow.

Vols bar brawl investigation to last several days - USATODAY.com

I heard the DeBusk interview on 104.5 He never said more charges would be brought tuesday. He did say there may be more charges. How many credible witnesses can you get in a Bar at 2:00 am? I would hate to be the investigators interviewing those drunks. Now that the bar owner has had so much to say,I hope they have witnesses as to whether or not our players were being served alcohol. Would the police have given breath tests to the ones they took into custody? They were using UT players popularity for their own personal gains. Mixing underage kids(athletes) with adults consuming liquer is always a bad idea. I would also like to know if the off duty police officer was consuming, there have been reports he was and that he shoved Montori Hughes. I think Hughes lawyered up to keep him from getting railroaded. If the guy shoved him without provocaton, I would imagine Montori is the one that hit him causing him to fall and hit his head. All speculation, but 104.5 had a guy that claimed he was in the bar and thats how he saw it happen. We will survive and hopefully move on and continue changing the culture. I also heard it said concerning the VIP treatment, that every student at UT can show their ID to get in free, and that they also have over 300 people that carry some sort of VIP card from that DUMP. It's like having club seats at the landfill, lol. CLOSE BAR NASHVILLE!!!! V,B!

wait a minute...with no video your basically interviewing people that were drinking inside a bar at 2am......how can you get to the truth of the matter? the lawyers will have a field day with this.

This is why they usually just throw out bar fight cases, but due to the size of this case they will screw somebody hard because of the police officer.
