New SEC Schedule SECN @7pm 8/17

As someone who has lived in both Nashville and East TN....the winters are NOTHING similar. Knoxville, on the river, in the higher elevation will feel much colder. And it snows in the mountains much more than in middle Tennessee.

They should play the game in Crossville instead since it's even colder and there probably won't be many fans allowed anyway

Florida gets Vandy, Kentucky, and Arkansas in the 3 weeks leading up to Tennessee. Not good.

Everyone will be beaten to hell by then. This is gonna be a bloodbath this year. All SEC games are physical.

Florida also plays at Vandy, late November, two weeks before Tennessee. They should get a good feel for the weather then I’m guessing.

We get Vandy right before Florida. Basically a bye game. Kentucky usually plays Florida tough. Doubt it matters too much though. Florida should be a lot better than the vols if JG is still our QB.

I actually love this schedule. For once, the SEC did a great job spacing out the notable matchups. IMO, there is not a single brutal stretch the entire season. And I LOVE closing the season with Florida. That is awesome and if we somehow are in contention come December it sets up for a primetime game in Neyland with potentially fans in the stadium.

I feel like the tough games are fairly spaced between the “easier” games. We look like a trap game for UGA between AU and Bama. And Bama plays UGA before us. Those things go in our favor IYAM.
