YouTube - Scotty Hopson

I put a new video of Scotty Hopson on youtube today. Highlights from the 1st game of the year against Clarksville High (TN).

Really wished I could have seen Clarksville's Tyrone Caldwell play for the Vols. He is Hopson's AAU teammate, so that could have helped land him as well.

Jesus Christ, that block was NICE. Looks like the tools are there for defense.. Free Throws looked good too. Tell him to come to UT, aspuhead, if you know him! Come play in a run and gun style.. He's more than suited for it!

Nice vid. He looks like a complete player.

And the free throw shooting will be nice too. :birgits_giggle:

Goes to his left to the basket just as easily as he goes to the right. Would have liked to see him finish with more authority around the basket. Also would like to see him shoot contested jump shots.

That is THE smallest gym I have ever seen for a high school basketball game. Hopson looks really special, however.

I was actually at that game, standing behind the Clarksville bench about 8 feet out of view.

The school is pretty small. You should, however, look at all of the very large banners hanging from the rafters:)

At least they put in a drop ceiling. It looks much better, and there isn't insulation falling on the floor all of the time.
