Not sure about S&C coach, but I hear that Albert Haynesworth has been tapped as the new Attitude Adjustment Coordinator. Curious to see how that works out...

He wouldn't give a name, but Doug Mathews hinted :whistling:that UT's new S&C coach had a position right now about 2.5 hours south of here (Nashville). If my geography is correct, that's around T'loosa.

Duece Gruden. He is Jon's son. He is S/C coach for the Washington Redskins. Who head coach is Jay Gruden. (Jon's brother) Now we get a Gruden at Tennessee so now maybe all Vol Nation can get some rest and leave the Gruden's alone.

That would end up being like UNA or Huntsville.. Tuscaloosa is like 4 hrs From Nash.. I knew it was too good to be true. We are getting Steve Herring? 🤢

It’s not 4 but it’s every bit of 3.5. If you haul, you could make it in 3 maybe... Birmingham fits the 2.5 mark spot on. UAB S&C? Or Matthews just gave an inaccurate travel time. Probably most logical answer.

Paul Bain toured the weight room at UT, and didn't like the layout, so he slid the building three feet to the left to get it the way he liked it. After that, he did the Insanity Workout in 3 minutes; re-named it the Docile Warmup; and walked through a brick wall on his way out. Multiple bricks apologized for getting dust on the bottom of his shoes...

No idea, but everyone here who has heard any info seems to think it's going to be Cochran.

Go Vols.

I would doubt that. Cochran makes more money than every head coach in the MAC. Kirby and he are besties and he still couldn't lure him away from Bama.

He makes $535k per season. Offer him $700-750k and see if he’ll move. S&C coach is very arguably the second most important one in your program behind the head coach. He’d be worth the money, especially given the dire situation we’re in.

If not, I’m certain JP has other top-notch candidates in mind. Heard Swain talk about a Cochran protege the other morning. He also said that no announcement would be made until after the college playoffs, leading one to believe that his guy is on either the Bama or Georgia staff imo.

And it’s not true that Cochran makes more money than all the MAC coaches. PJ Fleck will make $900k+ this year and the 5 highest paid MAC coaches each make more than $525k.
