With the departure of Baggett my question is who will Tennessee be able to hire with the kind of reputation that will continue to attract top quality receivers we brought in. Baggett may not have been the most inspiring coach on the team but when you can sit down with high school kids and talk about the fact that you have coached some of the best receivers in the NFL you get their attention very fast. I think Tee is a great guy but if I was a young receiver it would not be to hard for me to decide. Just hope we can get someone with some quality experience. There is a lot of psychology/motivation to keep receivers at the top of their game. Has anyone heard any other names?

Sounds like we will hire a RB coach and move someone current to WR. (Hinshaw is the name so far)

well to keep in step with the other volnation "gurus", it will be between:

Peerless Price
Carl Pickens
Willie Gault
and Donta Stallworth although he is probably about to be dropped from consideration for background issues

because only "true vols" are all that is needed at TN

A question mark would have been nice on your thread title.

:cool2:

Why? You don't have a life anyway, so clicking on a thread to be fooled by it's content only waists a couple of minutes of your life.............JK

Ok, guys I guess Hinshaw and Dooley will be taking care the receiver recruiting responsibilities. I guess as long as we keep getting quarterbacks that can put the ball in their hands will be able maintain the quality we have now.

I'm still far more concerned with the OL and kicking game than I am about a WR coach.

Dooley is going to promote Heistand to WR coach since he has done such an outstanding job with our Ol. Probably get a big pay raise also.

It Ok I always get some responses completely unrelated to the point of my posts. I'll try to be more precise next time.

Chaney takes over QB duties, Hinshaw takes the RBs, and the G.O.A.T. will be back to Coach the WRs ! Thats right folks- J. Rice wants in the coaching circle and that is why he was here to speak to the team this year. Book it . (All speculation and wishing, no sources, no agenda)

AMEN!! Face it, interior line play is where the game is won, PERIOD!!!

...remember Travis Stevens with 200 plus yards against Florida at 185 pounds, he had BLOCKERS!!!!!
