New Poster of Neyland

Been looking to put something up above my computer and was looking as tennessee prints. Couldn't find one i liked and wasn't gonna pay the price of a fathead. So i made my own!
I used a program called rasterbater. It takes an image and blows it up into whatever size you want. I used the finest quality output and went with this pic of Neyland at sunset. (it was hard finding a high res one with the new upgrades)

I then took the file over to staples and had them print it on premium paper. Instead of having just paper on the wall i decided to cut out foam board sheets to give it a more professional look. I think it turned out great and will definitely be making more!

i've always wanted to do something like this. how does the quality of the picture translate when its blown up and printed?

The quality is amazong considering. Heres a few tips that i learned from this:

-I used 1mm dots to make the image clearer

-Try to find the highest resolution picture you can get. This photo was 6,000x something. So it was very clear.

-ef double sided tape. Use spray glue (i had to redo the tape)

-go with a matte finish on the prints. especially if your puttin it up next to a window.

-Also a possibly to print on photo paper at staple. This would make it more store bought quality. But it wouldve doubled my budget with the prints.

-Total cost was $35 including the foamboard and glue.

Pretty cool. The lines between the frames make look like its outside a window on your wall.

Never used rasterbater before but I have used one call PosterRazor before. It makes the frames overlap a bit so you can line it up with no seams.

Ya you have basically the same options with both. I thought about making it one big continuous photo without the gaps but no matter what way i could do it, you still would notice the lines. So i just embraced the cutouts and made it small spaces. I might make them just a little bit closer still. Definitely gonna make a few more! :loco:
