Granted the wording is a tad off, but I think you missed the meaning of that post. He's not angry at the pollsters, but the coaches/team.

What! well, I just can't believe that! We are not ranked!!!! gosh....why can't i be a USC or a Flordia fan!!! Why must my heart belong so to the Vols! If a man ever treated me the way the Vols do, I surely wouldn't keep him around, non the less....still love em':banghead2:

Vols are like the battered wife that can't seem to let go of that abusive husband. Instead, our AD brings him back in the house and he rewards Fulmer. Then tells us we can't do any better than what we have.

This was all discussed by many last year. It's just where this program is now and where it will remain until a positive change at the top happens. Until then, we will have to take a lesson from other mid to low level programs. Show up expecting to be beat by the good teams and be very happy with any wins you get.

Chavis' would come up with a brain child of something like dropping back the defensive line 6 yards from the line of scrimmage.

Rationalize by saying we want want Spiller & Davis contained. They can have the 5 yards, but they ain't getting no 20 yard runs against my defense.

Look we left a lot of points on the field in that game. Yeah the coaching in that game was not the best but we had plenty of opportunities to win that game but the players did not make enough plays. UCLA players were making some big plays. I mean you know Special teams win games and the guys on the end did not block and they blocked the kick. Foster Fumbles inside the 10 for about the 8 time in his career, and he is lucky he is going for the record because Hardesty is a better back by far. Then you had all the miss throws by Crompton, drops by recievers (Austin Rogers), missed 3 field goals, the no call safety.....There are a thousand things that went wrong in that game but does not mean you give up on your team.....Yeah Fulmer probably needs to go and Chavis def needs to go. But last year we were in the same boat and we ended up in the SEC championship. IMO I just think it is way to early to start saying its over for this year. If we come back and Beat Florida then we will be right back in the top 20 again, then to play Auburn who is also in the top if we luck up and win that one too then we might even be in the top 10( and I know that this is a long shot but its possible). There is a lot of football ahead lets just see what happens before everyone jumps off this ship!

Come on though folks they played GA Southern!!! WHO?? USC does deserve that ranking. We will all see how overated GA will be when they get into that schedule they have.

But a different question when will UT learn and do what GA and FL have done and play a gimme!!???? Why can we not get CA or UCLA to come play here?? We have a BIGGER BETTER stadium.. We need help when it comes to scheduling!!

You are right sir, its not giving up its tired of settling for less than what we have! We have top 5 recruiting class n we are playing like a JV team!! Its sad when you get out coached and you have been coaching for as long as Fulmer has!!!

Referring to Cal, see 2006 season where we were up 35-0 at one point, at Neyland.

Referring to UCLA, see next season's schedule...

We will "Beat the BeJesus" out of them next year at home just like CAL. I for one am proud that we put our team up against anyone anytime! We just need to prep the boys better.
USC, TN, Nobody else played anybody-
If we win were top 10
Weak teams play weak schedules.
