Cutcliff will not take the OC job at the expense of RS...they're big buds. And Cut has said once he's well enough he's going after another HC job. Period.

Cut led Ole Miss to the best 6 year success they had had since John Vaught.

You have to consider the vast gulf that exists between those two programs.

I do believe that had Cut been with this bunch since 2-a-days we would have scored more than 1 TD today. That last one really didn't count for much.

I hope you are kidding. Walt Harris is the architect of the modern UT offense. We need new blood and a new direction in my opinion. Only way it happens is if we lose 4-5 games. I see 4 pretty easily( Bama, ND).

I live in raleigh and have to put up with the ACC with Dook UNC and NC State.
However, NC State went the NFL route and hired Gary Trestman as their OC. He was OC of raiders from their last super bowl team when Gannon was MVP. He is a 21 year vet in the pros and NC state's offense has vastly improved and the fans love him.
Fulmer should go find someone in the NFL who has that experience and better conform to his talent. Just a thought but it cant hurt.

Sounds like a match made in heaven. Even more so than LIO and NCGatorBait.

I agree with Lex. Hal Mumme would be a excellent choice. If he ever had a defense he would have won a ton more games a UK and he was never afraid to take a chance. But never let him recruit.

What about Texas Tech's OC? They seem to put up some big numbers.
