I really question this coaching staff. I am completely convinced that I will have to live in the past. We are vandys biatches....

At this point, I don't know. I think you both are correct though. The OC and DC both should take a hard look at what they happen to be doing and figure something out pretty quick, especially before next season. And Butch had better come to realize his staff needs to do that as well. If he ignores the fact the game plan wasn't executed or wasn't good enough, a hard look should be taken at his ability to pick a coaching staff.

Football is football. These same guys won against similarly talented competition everywhere they've been. It ain't the coaches..it is the crap players who refuse, or are just literally unable to learn. NO game plan will work if the players do not execute it. The staff may not be great, but they have proven they know how to win football games with their gameplans. Jesus couldn't get these dumbarses to play. Just my opinion.

Doyle went off the deep end. His rants don't make me change my mind. Butch is the answer, but some of his staff members need to be changed.

You are right, I did go off the deep end. I was worried for two weeks that the team would regress to their old ways after taking it on the chin the past few games, and it happened. To make matters worse, it appears that the staff may have joined them with a game plan that didn't help matters. I haven't seen a game plan so conservative since the days of Majors vs bama. They were coaching scared and to not lose. I understand with North out and Dobbs being Dobbs that they were a bit handcuffed, but my god. I just hate feeling like the game meant more to us fans than it did to them.

I would say it might help temper the fan base about begging for the back up QB now...

But there are a bunch of retards out there suggesting Ferguson burn his redshirt in the final game. So there is no hope.

Here's to hoping Worley comes back strong next year for certain. And if CBJ doesn't have his eye on a 2015 QB, he needs to be run out on a rail.

Mediocre coaching + a team full of kids that have no clue how to compete + diminished talent level = the sh!t sandwich we've seen this year. The coaches need to continue bringing in elite talent. They also need to take a very detailed review process of their coaching performance this season to determine where they need improvement. The team dynamics will continue to improve with a coach that the players love and respect. If all of those things happen, I believe this team will look like a world beater.

When you have a joke for a QB the plan has to be to dial it down. They made downfield passes until the joker had 2 intercepted, and another 2 that should have been. It's all on Dobbs, not the staff. Dobbs dictated how the rest of the game went after he failed to demonstrate he is a threat to do more than throw screens, keep the occasional ball, or throw an interception. NOT ON THE STAFF. ALL ON DOBBS

I reckon this what happens when you have a student-athlete that actually concentrates on being a student. I also wonder if it is just game nerves that he doesn't know how to manage yet. People who have watched him practice thought he would be good to go. I hope Riley turns out to be better. If not...the $**t sandwich Sam was talking about is going to be the main course for awhile.

Dobbs is garbage period. If he was taking basket weaving he would be the same. He sucks.
