New night shift thread

This team finally showing what we haven't seen in 3 years...improvement. I dare say I think we hired the right guy.

Hot damn shablam!!! We got us a quality win!!! How you is Cooke?

What do we think fellas? Doyle? Ruck? Goat? Dudz? El Grande?

Breathed a huge sigh of relief yesterday. First off at the field goal as I was happy to see Palardy finally living up to his expectations. Secondly to finally get that win over a ranked opponent. And the fact it was Spurrier was even more awesome. He was not a happy man at his post game press conference.

I think realistically we should be right where we're at. Hoping Bama is looking past us and we at least keep it close. Auburn and Mizzu are winnable, but expecting to drop one of the two. Kentucky will be a blowout. Vandy will be a revenge game and it will not be pretty.

Still on track for 7-5 with a bowl. Hell, we're bowl bound at 6-6

Peyton throws for 400 yards and 3 touchdowns. He gets one interception due to Mathis hitting his arm as he throws. He had Decker on that out route for a TD, but he couldn't maintain control to the ground. And on a 90 yard drive where Peyton completely schooled the defense, they get down to the 3 yardline and hand off..... fumble. I'm not putting this loss on Peyton.

Can't win them all. I'm a Peyton supporter for life, but I tend to hate the Broncos.

You live in Colorado for a while and that's all you see and hear about. And the most bandwagon fans I've ever seen.

Sorry for not answering sooner. I left here just as the game ended Saturday, and took my daughter to Knoxville. I just now got back home. I am so proud of the team. I honestly was in shock after Marquez made that catch. It was almost surreal. I didn't jump or shout or anything. I was in utter disbelief that the breaks finally went our way. I have never acted like that, it was weird. As far as the next few weeks goes, I hope we can pull out at least one win in the next 3. We could play well, and still lose all 3. The Legion of the Miserable would be back in full force, saying stupid crap like "we told you the SC game was just a mirage" I hope the boys got some more juice in em, and shut the jackoffs mouths once and for all. Good night fellers I am tired. :hi:

But hopefully still pumped up over the victory from Saturday.

Thoughts on day after tomorrow?

I honestly have no idea what to expect. I just mainly hope we give them a game. We are still extremely slow, and thin at too many positions. QB is extremely unsettling also. The staff is doing a great job IMO. If we lose bad it is because our weaknesses get exposed, not because of inept coaching. :hi:

Weaknesses got exposed. You can beat a great (VOMIT) team like bammer with lesser talent, but two things have got to happen. You have to play above your ability (didn't happen) and they have to play way below theirs (They were wide awake for this one). Worley is never going to be a above average SEC QB, that is abundantly apparent now. And when you have slow AND undersized LBs it is a recipe for disaster against brute force teams like Bammer......I swear though, how in the hell do they always get away with holding on EVERY FREAKIN PLAY. That is not whining, it is an absolute fact. When your DLs heads and shoulders are getting jerked around ALL FREAKIN GAME without holding getting called, it is a fixed game.

You should have heard me screaming at the TV watching all the holding going on. My poor dog went through the house to get away from me.

I can't really comment on the holding non calls since I didn't get to see any of the game. Oh, and don't even ask me to watch a replay of that slaughter. Lol
Guys, we are 4-4 with a win over a ranked team. Butch has accomplished in eight games something that Dooley couldnt dream of doing in three seasons. We are on the right path. Be patient through these growing pains because we are going to take some licks along the way. Building a championship team from a losing team doesn't happen in one season.

On to the next one. Much more winnable than Bama. Not saying we will win, but I'd be surprised if we didn't give Mizzou all they can handle.

I think we can beat this Mizzou team. It will be tough, they got some hosses, but I think we can do it. I would feel better about it if we were at home though.
