My wife just got hired by Allegiant airlines...one of the perks...free flights for us. One of my first trips (Lord willing) will be Maine in the fall.

It was just a short 5 day vacation with the wife. Had a blast.

My wife just got hired by Allegiant airlines...one of the perks...free flights for us. One of my first trips (Lord willing) will be Maine in the fall.

That is pretty sweet. You could have yourself a nice cheap vacation if you combine that with using air bnb. We used that and got to stay in historic North Boston for $110 per night. That's cheaper than a shat hole motel all the way out by the airport.

Yeah we stayed mostly in South Maine, so we didn't see Acadia this time. We'll definitely get there next time though.

I honestly don't know how anybody could NOT like that place (except winter time). I'm not moving though. Still in ATL, just wanted a nice short getaway.
