That's the first nickname I've liked (after Monkey Finger D--so this is faint praise, indeed).

Our defense will always have a blue collar work ethic, but the quality of players we have now are Cadillac-worthy.

All I know is when I saw the ole miss defense calling themselves "land sharks" I thought it was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen. Spent half their game laughing at them. So I'll pass on pre-ordained nicknames. At least see them in action first.

This is nothing new...remember Nebraska and their Blac Shirt defense I don't see why college kids out there having fun

I'm cool with them just keeping it Orange Swarm...idk see why you'd even consider rebranding your defense as we return so many defensive players that take pride in being part of the Orange Swarm, regardless of the DC, they still wear that Power T...point is that just bc of a coordinator change, it doesn't mean you have to change/create any new nicnames.

It's not like Jancek's D was bad (reinvigorated our defense after suffering from the worst DC in UT history) by any stretch, we just made a huge upgrade DC wise. Hiring a DC the calibre of Shoop would be an upgrade for most schools. Shoop has proven himself to be one of the best defensive minds in CFB and get the most out of his players (Shoop had less talented defenses while still going against some of the best competition in cfb [SEC and Big Ten - EASTERN DIVSION...all caps for a reason]).
