I am 55 years old and this is the hands down worst Tennessee football team I have ever seen! And that goes for coaching too!:banghead2:

I have been around for a lot of seasons but never have I seen such a poor coaching and a team that just not know how to play, freaking embarrassing.

Destroyed our program brick by brick.

We're going to be feeling the after-effects of Botch Ball for a long time. Just wait til next year when we see how pathetic our O-line and LB corps is, once again. Even with proper coaching, I'm not sure we've got a winner at QB either, so we could be in for another disastrous year. All you folks who said he was a great recruiter, improved our APR, blah blah blah. It's all for show if you can't retain your best players, nor develop your projects. And besides, his best recruiting classes came when he had loads of playing time to offer and we had huge legacy classes in 14 and 15. Can't wait for it all to come out about him being an incessant liar and a foul-mouthed classless jerk with little man syndrome.

Hope you're enjoying your wife's "world famous homemade" chip dip there at home while you watch our program hit an all time historic low. I'll tell you a little secret. Your wife actually buys the chip dip locally then re-packages it in one of your tupperwares when you're not looking. Everything you ever did at Tennessee was a lie.

PS your wiki says your 6' tall. You can stop paying one of your minions to edit that every day, cause lord knows it magically gets edited back to 6' when I put in 5'7". Sue me, you fraud.

Now I hope the new coach cleans house gets rid of all the jones coaches still left.

Players showed ZERO improvement from year to year. they all must go.

I played taps in the third quarter and watched the rest of the Bama AUBURN FINISH.

Just think of the positive, there is no way Currie can announce Hoke as the new full time head coach.

Has UT season ever gone winless in SEC play

last time UT went winless in conference play was the season when UT didn't field a team due to WW2 and another time when we were still in the Southern (1921-32) conference. so no, we've never gone winless in the SEC.

it's an all time low.

I immediately think of all the dumb ass Butch Jones defenders on here for the last two years who thought he could do no wrong and just needed more time. I’ll add Doug Mathews to the list who constantly crusaded for giving Jones and extension to his contract in the preseason.

Well, plenty of fans knew he was the wrong guy, that last season’s 9 wins was pure fool’s gold and that he needed to be gone sooner rather than later.

And now, after 5 years of the Butch Jones debacle, look where we are....look what his BS hath wrought.

This is the worst, softest, least athletic and just most awful Tennessee Vols team I’ve ever seen in 43 years of being a diehard fan. There are some Bull Battle, Johnny Majors and yes, Derek Dooley teams, that would take this pathetic football team to the woodshed.

I never, ever thought I’d see such a disgraceful team to represent what was once a proud, blue blood, great football program. Today, for the first time ever, I’m actually ashamed to say I’m a Tennessee Volunteers football fan. Absolutely embarrassed and ashamed.

Just think of the positive, there is no way Currie can announce Hoke as the new full time head coach.

And THEN, less than 24 hrs later, just as Currie was setting up to happily-announce his top-choice Greg Schiano and brag about the tradition of UT football,

a NEW, NEW LOW emerged today !
