I'm gonna get one of the new touch iPods rather than the phone... I don't want to spend that much on a phone...

I played with one for a few minutes. Seemed pretty cool. Too expensive for me, especially since I have free cell service with another company.

I liked the screen and all, but I was getting frustrated using the web-browser. But, then again, maybe it takes more than 2 minutes to get used to it.

If you are paying a comprable amount for cell service, the iPhone would be a no brainer over the iTouch. Email, anytime internet, etc. seems worth the extra $100.

It would seem, so, yes... but my price right now is $0. I have yet to see a need for a cell phone, but will be in the market a little later this month (aka when I find time to shop around).

Weren't they having some problems with battery life on that phone?

I think the original flap was the inability to change out the battery without sending it back to Apple - additionally, a replacement battery would be expensive.

As far as battery life in day-to-day, I think it's considered pretty decent.
