Just to let you guys know while yal are speculating who will be our new headcoach, a person on the inside of the university who is behind the scenes has pretty much said none of the names are likely candidates for a new coach. Mike Hamilton conducts business behind the scenes and wouldn't meet the new head coach in Knoxville, if you look at his record of hiring coaches, he actually met the new baseball coach in Atlanta, and nobody knew he was even meeting anyone. So speculating may be fun, but the liklihood of any of these guys actually being the new headcoach is not real good.
Nobody will know who the new coach is until he announces it.

Clearly the top choice is Ed Gennero, with Wally Riggendorf brought in to be DC....

I have a source at church too! His name is JESUS! He told me that Neyland himself is coming back to coach the Vols and not even Hamilton will know until JESUS announces it himself after the seasons end.

we won't know who the new coach is till the Madden challenge is over. whoever runs that gauntlet is obviously the most qualified right?;)

my source tells me the new head coach will be the guy hamilton announces after he figures out who it will be even though he may not know till after the announcement.........:whistling:

Nobody mention this to the boys on the "UT Plane" thread..... They already know and are even giving "clues"..... Initials and all!! ohhhhh, ahhhhhhhh......
