Can we be anymore vague? Heard a rumor the guy coming has coached some football in the south.
Anyone have a clue? TOS Rumor says a guy with ties to Auburn. GA = Graduate Assistant
I can't remember the specifics but I think it is seven years after graduation. Apologize if I am mistaken. I do remember a thread about Dooley being pissed about the new rule. I wonder if this effects GAs already in place or would just be implemented moving forward?there is a new rule in place. a GA has to be someone who jsut got out of school? Can't have been a full time coach before... I can't recall all the requirements but it is like a "rookie". not someone who has coached.
Like Nick Reveiz could be a candidate if he was not wanting to pursue the NFL.
In bowl subdivision football, to specify that a graduate-assistant
coach is any coach who has received a baccalaureate degree and
has either received his or her first baccalaureate degree or has
exhausted athletics eligibility (whichever occurs later) within the
previous seven years and qualifies for appointment as a graduate
assistant under the policies of the institution.
