With the new football facility scheduled to be completed sometime this year how do you guys feel it will affect recruiting? I read a article the other day that listed the top ten facilities and we were not in it. With other SEC schools such as LSU, Bama, and Florida boasting some of the best in the country do you think this is a big factor when kids choose which school they want to play for? Perosnally I think it will have a BIG affect and in a positive way.

We're not in it because it's not finished yet. Once it's finished it will be a force to be reckoned with.

I believe it does have an affect on recruiting, but I believe the recruits look more at who will be coaching me, playing time, and even team publicity. Its especially for some 4* and 5* that is using college as a stepping stone for the money in the NFL. I hope the facility is great just for the prestige of the college.

So you are some national college football facilities guru? I've seen Oklahoma states new facilities video, and UTs preview video. by the videos, it looks like ours will blow theirs out of the water... But I'm sure u have thoroughly inspected every square inch of both, even without ours finished..

Facilities do matter, but kids look more at who is coaching them rather than how nice the weight room is. Kiffin said ours blew USC's out of the water when he came here, and at that point USC had a 2 deep full of NFL talent and 2 national championships to boast. We need every advantage we can get, but the coach will make or break recruiting.

USC has all that talent because it all comes from a 20 mile radius. That place sells itself. A trained monkey could recruit to there. Ex: Ed orgeron.

Isn't USC smack dab in the middle of the inner city? I mean I have heard the stadium and some of the facilities are pretty crappy.

It is. The stadium is crap, and so are the facilities compared to most. They are lucky they are surrounded by half of the rivals 250.
