I'm honestly fine with Clemson taking over as the "new" WR U.

But now that we are finally getting players in NFL..

You guys think we will become another "U"?

DE U?
CB U?
Maybe RB U?

If you wanna sum up our team since we were truely WRU, it would be underachieving-U.

Seriously though CBU or RBU? Am I missing something?

I still believe we are WRU, but let's get real.. our WRs in past drafts haven't really been studs.

I clearly said are we gonna have a "newer" U.

Relevant to 2017 and up

We're not any U anymore, sadly. We haven't produced many draft picks over the last five years. NFL players sure, but not like before. All of that old Tennessee pedigree is getting up there in age.

To everyone saying Vols are still WRU: Name a WR the Vols have had drafted over the last 5 years that's done anything in the NFL. I'll wait.

Vols are Punter U now, obviously.

I think all teams that strive to get players to the NFL needs to become associated with defense. That seems to be the hot side right now.

Players going to the NFL is a side effect of good recruiting and player development. The expectation is to win games and compete for championships.

121 will get their chance.

I like their chances.

Go Vols!

Clemson is nowhere near WRU. We will always have that title.

No, not lately, it's a thing of the past for us.

We've abdicated that spot. Several other programs can lay claim to it in the present, particularly Clemson, but not us. Kinda silly anyway. I'd rather be known as SECChampionU or NationalTitleU.

We haven't had the title in over 2 decades. People still living in 98

We are clearly punter U.

How many teams could we build with all the VFLer that have played in the Super Bowl or what ever it was before they starts calling it the Super Bowl?

We are NFLU!

Get it together folks. Myself included.

Go VFL!

Punter U of course. The Colquitts, Matt Darr, soon to be Trevor Daniel

No doubt, Punter U. I remember at one time, UT had, Little Man Stewart starting in Jax, Shawn Bryson-Detroit, Jamal Lewis-Baltimore, Travis Henry-Buffalo and Charlie Garner-either Philly or Oakland, at Running Back. Amazing. Never heard us called RBU, but we should have been

Unfortunately, the style of football we play now will not showcase the WR position as much as the pro style offense we use to run did. I just want us to win, could care less about what U we end up being as long as we win.
