Just a question to all Vol fans. Would you be fine with the Vols playing in a conference other than the SEC considering our chances to make the championship would be increased. Or would you rather the Vols play in the best conference in the land and do well year in and year out.
Here's a question you can ask them. Since the BCS was instituted in '98 what conference has won the most National Championships....... :whistling:I just had to ask that question because I work in Va with alot of Hokie graduates and they always tell me how they are better than us because they have a better final ranking at the end of the season. Every year I lose $20 to a guy here because very year we play harder teams. Pride won't let me call off the bet. All I hear is how bad they want to play my Vols. I can't wait for the day. I'm so tired of their mouths!
How much acid did you have to consume to come up with this scenario? Maryland, Duke, and NC State will leave the ACC on the day Beelzebub opens an ice skating rink. Not saying I would support it but an interesting scenario to me would be as follows:
1. Maryland, Duke, NC State, East Carolina and UCF leave their respective conferences to join the Big East, while W.Va. leaves. The Big East is now a 12 team conference that can split into divisions and play a championship game.
2. Florida moves into NC State's ACC slot. W.Va takes Duke's slot and UTK takes Maryland's slot. GaTech and Clemson switch divisions. The Hillbilly Nation is now united in the ACC Coastal (Renamed ACC Appalachian) with V.Tech, UVA, W.Va, UTK and Clemson in the same division along with Miami. This would be the strongest division in NCAA football IMO, much tougher than the current SEC East.
3. Auburn and Bama move into the SEC East taking over slots vacated by Florida and UTK. Southern Miss and Memphis take over the spots vacated by Bama and Aubie in the SEC West.
