LemmingLemming Notes: Not the biggest LB around but certainly one of the more athletic ones. On Film–#43 impresses you with his all around game. He played more DE than OLB but is better suited to play the OLB position in college. He is not intimidated by bigger blockers, shows strong hands, sheds blocks quickly, and can find the ball. Strong at the point of attack, he can stay low and his elusiveness is the key to his game. His film shows a player who appears to be in on just about every tackle. He needs to add weight and shows the frame to weigh close to 230 in college. Stats–Totaled 56 tackles, 14 sacks, and 10 tackles for losses at DE. Other Sports–Averages 6 points and 10 rebounds a game as an FW in basketball. Grades–His GPA is 3.2 and he scored an 18 on the ACT. Benches 325 and has a 36" VJ
I thought he was a 2* DE because of his size.
He is a two star on Scout and we all know that Scout doesn't do near the homework on football that Rivals does. Rivals is the site for football.........Scout does a better job on basketball.
Am I the only one who is concerned that Tennessee is poaching players from a football program that wasn't in existence two years ago? And yes, I realize the Rivals rankings don't mean everything, but the do mean something. This athlete may turn out to be a stud, but if this is going to be representative of Tennessee's overall recruiting efforts, there is reason for concern.
