Mike Leach is 3-0 2019 and 11-2 in 2018. He was dying to come here and be our coach but some people thought he was too odd and he liked pirates. They thought he would embarrass us!!! So we took the cheap and safe route. Kiffin wanted to come. Nobody else wanted the job.

Why not? We brought Fulmer back.
Fulmer didn’t leave the program in the middle of the freaking night leaving us scrambling to find a head coach and trying to salvage the recruiting class, that btw, KIFFIN AND ED were telling early enrollees not to go to class and come to USC!!!!! Huge difference!

Meyer is the only coach up there that puts TN back on the map next year. He put Utah on the map. He breathed life back into Florida with 2 nattys after the bone head hire of what’s his name. Took Osu to the next level. He’s a WINNER. But hey let’s hire our next experiment. Before that lets get least 4 active coaches a raise and settle for some unproven and have the sunshine pumpers call all of us realist “negavols” for wanting more. And when we hire the next chump hope he will all get us all fired up ready to run through a burning house cause he says stupid sh!t like aight and he likes cornbread! Holy hell were the Advil!!!

I'm in favor of that, too--a performance based contract. If you don't perform, you get nothing! Right now, he has to be rated the absolute worst coach in the SEC.

Whether he did or didn’t , am I to believe that 12 individuals would by choice go and pick Pruitt to be their coach? Like as in they’re in the midst of a search and the select Pruitt ? Even though in a hypothetical situation the coaches listed would say yes? Are his family members on here voting ? I mean I can get someone saying let’s stick with him , but in a hypothetical situation where you can pick your coach you would pick him?

Tennessee fans love the flashy coach, doesn’t matter if they win, or if they have a record. If they are off the edge you want them. If they have one good season and it’s this season, you want them. No, hire a power five proven head coach with a winning tradition in his background. Someone with a resume that’s undeniable and pay them.

Heck no I wouldn’t have picked Pruitt! But look at when he was hired we were scrambling yet again because we have a habit of waiting till the last minute.

Not totally against it, but Tennessee probably needs to look at someone with more than 1 year FBS experience.

He is good, but Tennessee has had bad luck trying out coaches. The next one needs to be a proven power 5 winner (just my opinion).

Aided and abedded criminals and morally bankrupt. I want to win as much as the next guy, but what does it profit a man...

Let’s think outside the box on a “new coach”.

Who would be young, extremely smart, high football IG, played at a high level in the SEC, has NFL experience, a head coach that would represent the University of Tennessee well in any environment, be it boosters, media, or in a recruit’s living room?

Josh Dobbs

Hell I’d rather him learn on the job than Pruitt!

Flame away!!

So yeah I said you , I didn’t mean you directly , I was just asking a general question of the others who voted Pruitt
