I would like Tennessee to hire Matt Campbell,Hugh Freeze or Dave Clawson because they could hire them unlike the head coaches on that poll question.
I’m done with Hugh Freeze personally. I shouldn't say anything as he’s a “family friend” but at this point I hate the guy. He’s still been cheating on his wife even after the “I found God” ruse. He can go **** himself.

For those that can’t read or refuse to. Hypothetically means - based on or serving as a hypothesis, supposed but not necessarily true.
Also when I note , reality is that we are stuck I understand we aren’t going to or can’t make a change. Just curious as to who the general fan base would like to have in an ideal world .

You’re posts said if I could name my coach. I did so, if I could hypothetically name anyone coach. Didn’t see any restrictions in your post. Take your condescending pseudo intelligent a** and hit the road with CJP.

Hypothetically.....

Funny that the same people who ridiculed Urban Meyer and Ohio State for the Zach Smith stuff, now want Urban to coach the Vols. Gross. No thank you

Wow 2 people actually want Pruitt to get a new contract.
That’s why I’m confused, are these folks saying in an ideal world they would go out and select Pruitt? Or are they just saying we need to stick with him which is not what the poll is asking

Just keep Pruitt and embrace the losing. I quit caring two years ago and it has been quite liberating.

Truthfully most of these aren’t coming for anything Tennessee would be willing to pay. However I still say you got to pony up and get someone who is proven at a high level.

Prob have to be a Dorean or like coach.

Pruitt will be here through next year. And we will likely still be losing games by 3 1/2 touchdowns.
He will be back. Won’t be back for a 4th year unless there’s a big change on the field. List is completely irrational BS though; Kiffin is the only name on that list that would come to Tennessee. And there’s zero chance that happens.

The funny/sad thing is, if any of those coaches had any interest in coming here Tennessee would openly discuss it, debate it, and negotiate it in the media for three or four weeks until another school fired their coach and swooped in within 24 hours to take him away from us. And then we'd repeat that process with the next guy. We'd end up overpaying for our seventh or eighth choice.

Having Kiffin come back here after what he did last time would be a bitter pill for many of us. What we're doing is not working. The only way to credibly have continued faith in Pruitt is if you're willing to give him three more signing days to totally flip the roster. I don't think it will matter whether every player on the roster is someone he recruited but others will disagree. If we can get a Meyer, the I vote to drop Pruitt now. If not, we may as well wait until early signing day to read the tea leaves.

David Cutcliff. UT football was not successful under Fulmer it was successful when Cutcliff was here. Go back and check the record vs the years Cutcliff was the OC here.

Cutcliffe is nearing 70 and isn't a long term solution.
