I know that people will have fit that I would even say this, because they have before.. I think the new coach is already on the staff.. I'm not saying I would be happy if it was true.. I just have a gut feeling that it is going to happen... I have thought this before Fulmer resigned.. I just can't figure out which one it would/will be...

There has already been talk about this, and I would not put any stock in to ANY of our current coaches being our next HC. Hamilton is at work, he knows his future depends on it.

I don't think they would hire a search company to hire a person inside the staff. That would be a HUGE waste of money. We are definately going outside this staff...:dance2::dance::eek:k:

That is an excellent point.. Like I said I just have a gut feeling... Wouldn't be the 1st time I was wrong.... I'm afraid the folks that the search agency are turning it down..

If anyone on this staff deserves the HC position its Chavis. But I agree that they wouldnt have hired a search group for someone inside the staff.

Take this FWIW, and I know how you guys hate this, but a guy that donates money to the program and talks to Hamilton on a regular basis, said that Lane Kiffin is going to be the new head coach. Also, said he already has his whole staff lined up and the Ed Orgeron will be the Defensive Coordinator.

According to him, these words came out of Hamilton's mouth. This is the same guy that was told by Hamilton that Fulmer would be gone before it was announced. This is the only reason I am posting this, because his first comments rang true.

So, did Lane say why he wasn't bringing his daddy in as the DC? I thought we were getting a package deal here. :)
