Im telling ya......Ive wanted UT- VT for years....and I was out this past Saturday in a bar in Blacksburg and happened to mention the possibility to some Hokies and they either A) Were excited for the matchup or B) some of them got down right mad and scared of the thought of UT

What if we lose to UK? What bowl then? I know here in birmingham I would definitely go to legion field for the papa john's bowl...armed of course!

I can't imagine the Music City or Liberty passing up a qualifying UT team.

We win Saturday... we go to Outback. I think this is arguably the biggest game our program has had in almost a decade. Lose, and we play on Christmas Day. Win, and we are playing on New Year's Day. Big difference in recruiting perception.

Isn't Miami likely for Peach bowl? One more ACC lose but same as VT overall. I would think Miami is more attractive right now. Does Peach have ability to select or is VT mandatory if Clemson loses?

I personally think if we beat Kentucky then we are going to the Outback
Bowl, period. Auburn is not going to beat Alabama. Even if Arkansas beats LSU, which is possible, I think we still go to the Outback. I don't see the Cotton, Capital One and Outback all taking SEC West teams. We will be #2 in the east and I think the Outback takes us over LSU. Besides that will be two losses in a row to LSU and they will go to a lesser bowl with Ole Miss getting the Capital One assuming they beat Miss. St. and Arkansas getting the Cotton if they would happen to beat LSU.

Provided that we beat Kentucky Sat. I'd say we will play Northwestern in the Outback Bowl (Ohio St. & Iowa are BCS bound and Penn St will get Ole Miss in the Capital One Bowl)

I' would love for us to go to the Peach in atl, but as far as playing clemson or GT, i think we are in trouble. They both run the ball well. GT's triple option is hard to stop.

i dont want to play Clemson or GT with the way our defense has been banged up.

one month to rest and Rod Wilks will be cleared by the SEC medical staff to play.....but he will have to give atleast a 3 second verbal waring before he can hit someone.....im just sayin...
