I just googled knox McCoy.

Is "The full Monte Kiffin"your work as well?Posed on The naked truth about sports.

You have apparently done other articles.Wide ranging in scope.A couple from (along came parent hood.com)

Along with others.

You write about what you know, writers through out literature who do that, are very successful.

I also think it's genius to bring on a blogger who's not been entrenched in the Vols since birth. It will bring an objective point of view to the VN.

Your investigative work is on point. I'm a new dad and sports fan so I don't think I'll ever have a shortage of material.

Thanks for your and everyone else's kind words. They are much appreciated especially since VolNation is the main reason I have any audience (however small it is) at all due to the snowballing effect of the Kiffin Apology Letter. Without most of you, that would not have been read very widely and I would still be blogging in obscurity.

I have wondered what happened to you! As a TN fan, you will no doubt have some ups and downs, but we do have fun. For the most part, we are an optimistic bunch but we do get ticked if our teams don't play as well as we think they should but no matter what, we are always VOL fans. We have a great university and we have great coaches...Summitt, Pearl and Kiffin and all our other coaches give us a solid sports program and fan base. Welcome and I am looking forward to your commentaries....Slimebum, eat your heart out!!!

Great read and welcome aboard. Please make sure you make your way to Neyland for a game. I was hooked the first time I saw the team run through the "T" fwiw. Welcome to the "Nation" and look forward to your next blog/article.

"At a young age, I was drawn to the Florida State Seminoles..."
"Guys like Peter Warrick, Chris Weinke, Derrick Brooks, and Warrick Dunn transfixed me..."

You watched Warrick Dunn play, so how does Chris Weinke get a mention over Charlie Ward? One of my all time favorite athletes. I just feel a tad bit slighted for the guy. All-American Heisman Trophy winner at qb that goes on to have a 10 year career in the NBA, but was first drafted in MLB, all with an incredible attitude. COME'ON!!!

I will admit that I still pull for FSU. It made it easier that UT was able to beat them in '98, that way I didn't have to hate them for taking the NC away from me. It also made it that much sweeter that UT beat a team I admired so much.

Plus it was the shoes...:)...but in a good way. FSU always had sweet shoes. Free or not!!

Still remember the Bruce Smith's they wore his last year. SAAAWEEEEEET!!!

Check the membership stats and how many guests are online at any given time. There's more people reading than most think.

I believe this was the gentleman who composed the apology letter from Kiffin to Urban Meyer. If so, great job on that one.

I sent him your way, Freak. I didn't know if you had a place for him or not. It's good to see he's found a home. The dude is an AWESOME writer.

Great job, "Knox". I look forward to seeing more of your work on here and welcome to the VolNation.

He really commits to what he writes. That's what I like and that's what's missing so much in your typical journalist today. And he's on the Lane Train - so that doesn't hurt anything. :)

Mr. Mccoy,

Your most recent blog post is the first one that I read. I then proceeded to read them all.

As someone who has never been shy about touting his own writing chops, I have to say that I am very impressed with your writing thus far. Excellent. All of it. Please post frequently -- I will be sure to keep an eye out.
