Apparently this college professor never took a course about the Constitution or, like Obama, chooses to ignore it. To date, the University has no plans to discipline the professor. You can bet your sweet @$$ if this was a conservative professor doing this to a demonstrator with a gay rights, abortion rights, I want my redistribution check now sign...they would have been fired immediately. Tolerance - the subjective double standard only a liberal can love.

left and right are similar in many ways, however, I don't think I've ever seen intolerance by the right that is as vicious as that practiced by the left.

as for this part, I really don't see the issue. If she's charged then make the decision but right now it doesn't appear there's much to justify a firing besides the word of a girl who thinks large pics of aborted fetuses proves a point.

But the left is still the worst. Environmental leftist terrorists torching car dealerships? Yeah..that was good for the environment..That would be like anti abortion folks punching women in their baby makers.

To a large extent I agree. Probably paid leave till there is a decision. However, there were multiple witnesses, video and even the remarks by the professor may be construed as incriminating.

Regardless, they were in a designated area assigned for such demonstrations at UCSB. No trouble was stirred up till the professor took away the young woman's personal property and then assaulted her when she asked for it back and tried to retrieve it.

Yeah, it seems as though the professor certainly did act out of line and acted the part of a thief as well. It's unfortunate on her part and gives a bad name to the 99% of educators who are neither idiots nor idealogues.

Groups like this come to campus at least once or twice a year, along with the perennial street preachers who chastise random students, particularly females, about their sex lives. Anyhow, it's a public space, so they're entitled to say what they want I suppose (as long as it isn't libel, but I highly doubt anyone would take the time to actually suit).

A fake college still sounds more impressive than your education. I'm assuming you didn't go to college... seeing as... you don't know how to use a comma...

I'll assume you've made a living doing physical labor.

I'm not sure why he used quotation marks either, but there's no need to insult someone on what you consider their educational level to be. Whether one went to college or not shouldn't be a demarcation of their self-worth.
