New Adidas Uniforms

I have an off-white/beige-ish pair of SL '72s with burgundy stripes that are awesome, and fit well. Adidas' classics are awesome.

I had a custom pair of black sambas with orange stripes but the ex wife threw everything away. Adidas doesn’t do the custom stuff anymore I don’t think.

1. 50/50 on that. They will likely tweak it slightly, but it will remain. The "Tennessee" wordmark that it is based on is definitely staying.

2. The T got smaller because of the models of helmet we wear that the vent holes could not be covered on. The T started shrinking a few years before the T was made square (was previously wider than it was tall) in the 2015 Nike transition.

3. Happening.

4. Maybe on a future throwback, but I don't expect the uniform designs in the five major sports to look significantly different than they did this year. UT is maintaining design control. Most fans won't notice a difference other than the manufacturer's logo.

I'm glad. I never liked the black outline on our away jerseys. They look much cleaner now.

I'd be good with that for a one wear on one condition. Wear the helmet we wore one game in 2021 with it. Outlined T and outlined numbers would look nice.

Would be good if they wore the throw back jerseys when Condrage Holloway was playing. The white jerseys with orange on top of the shoulders. I think they wore them in 2003 or 2004.

I hated the black outlines on the white jersey, just looked off for some reason..

As a whole, from color match to ugly uniforms haven’t been enthusiastic about the change. Especially hated the black outlines and huge numbers. Guess we will see, but teams like TaM adidas uni’s don’t inspire.

That helmets tuff idk what you’re on about. Not a good look with the black though, it would look great if we brought back the black outline stormtroopers

I bet we would’ve worn them at Miss St last year, but they had their white out and we rocked all orange. I love white jersey and orange pants. I wish we’d wear orange pants for every rivalry game and SEC Title game (if we ever get back), and CFP game. I know I’m in the minority for that.

I think the current uniform looks the best we’ve had in a long time. Remember when the jerseys got too yellow in the Dooley years? Hated that. I would like the old number font from the late 90s.

I liked the old big shoulder pads, but I guess they are too easy to hold by the opposing lineman.
