New Adidas Uniforms

Excited to see these new uniforms adidas gives us. I believe they will be the best looking uniforms since 2012.

I want to see.

1. The old/a new number font similar to what we had prior to 2015 with Nike. The 4s and 7s have looked retarded in my opinion.

2. The large T on the helmet. It got smaller in 2015. Want the big one back.

3. Want to retain the double stripes on the pants. We’ve had these since 2021. As well as 06-12 and prior to 1996.

4. I want the black outline on the away jerseys back. We had this last in 2012.

I also would be fine with doing AAA with the Smokey grays for a while. They’ve already announced the dark mode unis will be returning.

What preferences do you want to see?

1. 50/50 on that. They will likely tweak it slightly, but it will remain. The "Tennessee" wordmark that it is based on is definitely staying.

2. The T got smaller because of the models of helmet we wear that the vent holes could not be covered on. The T started shrinking a few years before the T was made square (was previously wider than it was tall) in the 2015 Nike transition.

3. Happening.

4. Maybe on a future throwback, but I don't expect the uniform designs in the five major sports to look significantly different than they did this year. UT is maintaining design control. Most fans won't notice a difference other than the manufacturer's logo.

This gives me hope. Also, the new Adidas Anthony Edwards cleats actually don’t suck like the rest of their football cleats, so that’s good.

Hell no on the black outline. Hated that. The orange and white is perfect.

My main goal is quite frankly that they don't look cheap. I think the new model of Adidas jerseys are better, but those ones they were putting out at the end of our run until recently look awful. You still see that model some with lower level college and high school. It looks terrible in my opinion.

Miami and Texas Tech recently have looked better.

I am open to something new for the alt uniform. Grey is too neutral and meh. I'm used to the Vols' uniforms really popping visually. I like the grey, but they're not particularly memorable.

Miami’s uniforms look good. They’re simple, they don’t try to do too much. They look old school. Hopefully the only difference we can see will be the 3 Stripes instead of the swoosh. Adidas just needs to keep it simple and not have their fabric have that stupid tire tread or their crazy basketball uniforms with sleeves or crazy neon colors.

Hopefully all of this $$ we’re getting will produce results bc mostly everyone that chimes in from other adidas schools like Miami, Texas A&M and GT say they wish they were with another brand .

Tickled about #3, that was always our best look IMO.
