New Adidas Uniforms

On # 3 I’ve wondered if a third stripe would be added with adidas branding..

Adidas can’t do three stripes as a design element on a uniform because it is considered a logo and you’re only allowed one small logo per piece of apparel.

I prefer the stormtroopers Joey is wearing, they look sharper. Also like the orange collar.

Mmmm that just convinces me the other way though. I can't help but always prefer the big numbers and the black outline. Best away uniforms in college sports.

It helps, of course, that Tennessee was "that team" getting off the bus in the 1990s.

Oddly enough, I don't think of that Aguilar away uniform as "stormtrooper." Nor any of the modern away uniforms. Too much orange accent, too many logos, too busy. What made the old stormtroopers iconic was their "we're here to beat the hell out of you, not to win a jersey competition" simplicity. Blunt. Big. White, simple numbers, black text for readability. Here to do business.

Eh with two orange stripes on the outside and white in the middle it technically is three. Three orange would be too busy imo
