New Adidas Uniform Idea

Messed around on EA Sports College Football 26 TeamBuilder and made some Tennessee uniforms with Adidas branding. This away alternate has white and orange with the black outline on the numbers like they did back in the day, with black accent on helmet and pants to tie it all together. Any thoughts?

This is a clean idea and I love it! The call back would be such a nice touch. No lie your post made me feel 5x better about the switch (that I'm currently nervous about). Thank you!

No black outlines. Just orange and white. The current uniforms are perfect.

Adidas will not be changing the uniforms. Part of the deal is that the design team stays in house at UT. The in-house design team did not exist the last time we were with Adidas. Or at the beginning with Nike. Tennessee controls all of that, including the shade of orange now, thankfully.

I don't like the black outline, but if that was the only black we ever saw on a UT uni I could live with it as an alternate.

One of the best unis was the Adidas Smokey Grey with the traditional dual stripes and narrow wide highlight. The only problem with them is that they didn't have an alternate helmet and that white one were horrible. Bring the matching smokey gray helmet and those would be beautiful.

I just hope they can get the color correct this go-round. NO black on the helmet. The number outline is fine, IMO.

Not a fan of gray at all. A blackout game is cool 1 time a year (around Halloween) but I’m a traditionalist. Simple is clean.

Orange and white. That’s it.

I don’t like the black with the orange and white. I like the all black and orange, all white and orange and all orange and white with the orange jerseys and white pants on occasion.

I like the black around the numbers, just gives it a clean edge. I’d do away with the black in the helmet and pants though

Put a black outline around the T on the helmet and you’ve got it. I’d also prefer the traditional two stripes on the pants too with thin black outline, but overall it looks pretty good.
