has UT ever had a 5* running back that ever done any thing Bryce brown is the only one I know was a 5 * and maby Gerald Riggs jr cant remember he had a lot of yards rushing at Red Bank right over 3000 but not as Good as Hurd had plus I think Hurd is big and fast enough to start as a freshmen.

Webb was a 5*.

I'm surprised Bates went up. Don't they usually tend to drop once they commit. It seems like the earlier guys commit, the lower they rank them. If there are many RB better than Hurd, I'd like to see them. Going to try & catch a Beech game this year to see him play. Saw him 2 yrs ago in Cookeville but missed him last year. Can't wait for this class to be in orange!

There is not one (1) HS RB better than Hurd.

Not one.

The videos don't lie.

Whether you want to admit it or not, his competition is a big reason for his film and statistics. I'm not taking anything away from Hurd, I fully expect him to be a great player, but his competition is not at the level of a Leonard Fournette, Joe Mixon, Nick Chubb, etc.

our average gain was 24+ spots for the 6 that made it in - Jalen is the #2 rated athlete in the country and is a 5 star - some of you can just make anything negative

That is kinda skewed because Bates jumped so many spots but I would agree with you that overall our ratings got better than they were.

Doesn't Fournette play in a low private school division? I wouldn't say his competition is any better at all..

Good Call - Helm looks like an absolutely match up nightmare! Next Aaron Hernandez (minus the murder wraps).
