A couple of tragic (please no) injuries to our backfield and you guys will be loving all over him or anyone else who can run up the gut.

A lot of places say he was under the radar. I doubt he comes in and contributes significantly early but he will add quality depth later on in his career if he sticks. He looks to have good balance, falls forward, churns the legs and seems to be a decisive one cut guy. He might not hit home runs but he will consistently keep you ahead of the sticks.

If he is a blue shirt then that doesn't necessarily mean he will ever get a scholarship does it?

If you read the NSD articles for Bruce and Perry, both were quoted as saying they were "told" they WILL be on scholarship when they arrive. Young's quotes in his commitment article said the same thing. If they don't get scholarships as promised, look out.

I saw we only have 82/83 scholarships available. So, seems like we are good to have these guys on scholly.

The zone in Nashville says it looks like his career is over due to a neck injury per "a source close to the program".

Edit: I know there has been some speculation, but this is the closest thing I have heard to a "confirmation".

I thought I had heard that Butch had moved him permanently to a student coach (much like TE Justin Meredith did a few years ago) because of said injury. I'll have to see if I can dig up where I saw that.

They mentioned something like that as well, but I didn't catch the specifics.
