While in the military. I've seen a lot of depression, especially around the holidays. Being over seas seemed to exacerbate the feelings. I found that keeping the troops busy working, playing, and in close contact seemed to distract them enough to get them through those tough days. One of my many isms was "Your family loves you, God loves you, and I need you!"Holidays can be really hard, along with anniversaries of a big loss (death, serious injury, assault, breakups)

You ever hear back ?Then talking to my friends sister. He made a weird post of Facebook about today being the second worse day of his life. I tried reaching him, but no response. I finally texted her, but she missed the post cause he took it down. I grew up with them, like since we could walk. Church, school, etc. She's supposed to let me know when she reaches him.
