Blood pressure was normal. O2 was low but back to normal
Do you have asthma? How low did your pulse ox go?

Sorry, feel free to tell me to MYOB. 😂

Paroxysmal coughing, meaning a sudden severe fit of coughing, can result in a lot of what you described. I get that sometimes from out of nowhere (I have asthma.) I’d still let your doc know. Start checking your temp (note: it rises right after a meal; scared the crap out of myself once until I realized) and definitely get checked out if it happens again.

My fall allergies are in full swing, and I freak people out (and myself) when the asthmatic bronchitis kicks in. I squeak when I breathe. 🤪

= “mind your own business” 😁

I wonder if your asthma is acting up, and you experienced a bronchospasm.

My guess is that you probably ought to follow up with whichever doc manages your asthma. Maybe you need a nebulizer treatment or oral steroids or both.

Asthma is never fun, and in these Interesting Times, it’s wise to keep our lungs in optimal shape. So maybe be a bit more compliant (or paranoid) than usual.

Damn, I guess I need to call MY doc now. 🙄

I have asthma, but it only really ever bothers me when I sneeze or get strangled as far as wheezing.

I had some sorta episode around 7 years ago, Didn't realize it was that long, and had I guess an asthma attack. It was rare, idk if it was something in the cabin we were staying in, or I was worried it was my Reeses cups. I really don't think it was the peanut butter, but I quit eating anything after that with peanut butter. I don't like avoid restaurants that use peanut oil or anything like that, and have snuck a bite of a Reeses or no bake cookie, but just avoid it mostly. Just in case.

Believe it or not Chocolate can cause problems with asthma.
