Neverending MBRO memory thread

Tiffany is happy about not having to have surgery, but the Dr yesterday did tell us that lupus would probably eventually take her kidneys. She's been kinda upset about that. I told her try not to worry about something down the road, just enjoy now.

I can see where that'd weigh on your mind though
With all of my wife's health issues she is having, I can very much relate to what you all are going through. I sure hope and pray that Mrs. Tiffany gets the help she needs and God give you all peace and joy through your suffering.
I think you gave great advice for enjoying the now! Really that's all anyone has.

She just wants to be normal, and that Dr was bluntly honest in saying there isn't gonna be any old normal for her. She gets Depressed, but like i said, it's understandable.

Always hope - maybe there will be a Lupus cure sometime soon -- in the meantime could she get on a transplant list early ?

I doubt it. I remember a Dr telling her several years ago that she wouldn't never be a candidate for any transplant because of lupus. It attacks the organs, and he said they'd give something to someone with a better chance of their body accepting something.

Yeah, my wife will never be normal either. It's looking like after this covid she may have to be on oxygen now.

Praying for her. I imagine she gets Depressed about it occasionally.
It seems like a lot here lately. It's a very hard reality. What is bad is she just turned 40 in January and now she wonders if she will be alive to see our children married.
There's nothing easy about it... Thanks Joe for the prayers, they are greatly appreciated.

Tiffany has said that, and I honestly worry about it. I don't tell her, but I sincerely think about it often. We don't know what tomorrow holds though, only God. She may fight this till she's 100!
