Neverending MBRO memory thread

We had one guy do it twice now. Said he was exposed, but posted pics on Facebook of him out with his girlfriend while he was supposed to be quarantined. 😂 I'm surprised he hasn't been fired.

You get 2 weeks with 40 hours from the company.
We had a facility meeting today. The owners, after saying if anyone of the employees tested positive, they would pay the 40 hour week, wanted us to sign a waiver saying we wouldn’t sue the company if we contracted Covid at work and then a separate waiver to agree to that if we did become infected, we would be off work with no pay. Not one employee signed, you can guess who was leading the charge. I was proud of each of them. I told them, we have to stick together. Now, the employees are demanding a zoom meeting with the owners.

Somewhere I have read its a law now, that they have to pay if you are infected with it -- do those idiots really want someone infected working just to get paid ? In the case of Joes company that slacker abusing the system would be required to get a painful covid test and show proof of it

Oh, believe me. I’m not standing for it nor is any other employee. This is my line in the sand and I will fight against it.

I kinda think that's what they're about to do, too many people getting 2 weeks off, but never sick. Our HR lady posted on Facebook yesterday asking for quick tests. When someone asked if she was sick, she said it was for work.

1 down, 2 to go. I jyst wish somebody on the other shift would've worked over this weekend!

After my direct supervisor, us fixers kinda have the authority on the floor. As in, if I tell somebody they need to do something work related, they're gonna have to do it

I have only ever bucked on someone a couple of times, but it was needed.

Our fabric rolls up on a roll, kinda like a roll of paper towels, after it's woven. The doffers job is to remove the rolls when they reach a certain yardage, and put a new tube, then start it back up.

It was after 7 Tuesday, and he just didn't want to take time to measure and cut a tube the right length. He just grabbed an old one, and it was about a foot short. I stopped the machine, and told him he'd have to get another tube.

I wasn't smart about it, just told him ut wouldn't work because it was wadding the cloth up. He got all mad, and said it didn't matter, and he wasn't walking all the way to the back and getting another tube. I just simply said "wanna bet".
