Ok, I hope all goes well for the two of you!Upper respiratory dry cough mild fever. They closed her work place today.

They counted our county as having our first positive, when it was someone who came from another county, tested positive here, and went back to their home county.I suppose we’ll have our own homegrowns once they trace this person’s contacts.
They aren’t quarantining me from work just don’t want me in the office. Thank you that’s sweet we ok for nowOk, I hope all goes well for the two of you!
Will you be able to care for her at home? Can you get PTO while you self-quarantine? Does anyone else live under your roof?
PS - Can I send toilet paper? We have lots of toilet paper!
We are each being tested (in a loving sort of way) as we react in our own ways. Me being all medical/scientific, him being all out-there political. (Believe it or not, I’m the restrained one when it comes to politics.)While realizing you and hubby are smart and taking every precautions. Please be safe Donna and Mr. Donna.![]()
Same for you and more! I have nothing but praise and gratitude for those of you who work anywhere in healthcare, but especially with those who are most vulnerable to this. Stay safe, and stay strong! While realizing you and hubby are smart and taking every precautions. Please be safe Donna and Mr. Donna.![]()

I hope all goes well, in both the health and marriage ways!I talked for a while today to a very close friend - hopefully my future wife - who works in healthcare and she is very concerned.
The possibility of hospitals not having enough capacity along with not enough healthcare workers due to them being ill would obviously be disastrous. A lot other concerns as well, sobering conversation.
When this is all over, I'll come to tge wedding!I talked for a while today to a very close friend - hopefully my future wife - who works in healthcare and she is very concerned.

One good thing out of that, I can go to her if I get attacked by a freaking bear!I hope all goes well, in both the health and marriage ways!
My older daughter, middle of my three kids, is a primary care physician in the mountains of rural western North Carolina. Many of her patients had never seen a doctor before she came. (I think it was during her first month that she stitched up a guy who’d been attacked by a bear, which was his first-ever encounter with the healthcare system.) @joevol33
As her clinic is grossly under-supplied with personal protective equipment, she went into quarantine from her family on Monday, moving into her basement and only interacting with her husband and toddler son when fully gowned, gloved, and masked. She still goes out to work every day, but she’s desperate to protect her family. (She is also at risk herself for serious complications.) She expects to live like this for at least the next two months, until we have some idea of how this will play out. She has also emphasized that we can’t expect adequate care in our local hospital, which was one of the finest in the region until after a recent change of ownership.
She is the least dramatic person I’ve ever known. She makes Mr. Spock look like a 14-year-old drama queen. And THIS is how seriously she takes this thing.
