Quick update: lawyer actually changed their mind about my wife keeping her appointment with the Dr that did the surgery, that's who we saw today. They wanted to see what the Dr would say about the infection, and not taking the mesh thing out. Response to not removing the mesh like they should have when they took the bladder- "sometimes that just happens". Response to the infection from cutting her colon- " try some herbal stuff". The dr did say the mesh would require surgery again, but we're going to go to another Dr for that.
Yeah, interesting responses imo. I'm not against herbal stuff, but I don't think that's a smart answer. Tiffany has an infection she's been fighting for a year, ob Dr setting her up at the mayo clinic because he's scared it's gonba kill her, but this Dr thinks it's no big deal.
It's aggravating. She doesn't show it to anyone else, and I don't talk about it except to my buddy in Kentucky, but there's plenty of days she'll just cry. She does anything these Dr's ask, but she's so tired of nothing helping. I really wish you all could know her in person. I swear you'd never know she was hurting unless she was having a bad day to where she couldn't hide it. You'd never know she has a bag hooked to her stomach unless you accidentally saw it. She doesn't complain, but she does get discouraged. She just wants to feel good, and that's what's hard for me. I'm a fixer by job title at work, but can't do a dang thing to fix her. It sucks.Just by reading everything you’ve posted about Tiffany, it all seems like you guys have and are being lead in circles. Just by reading, it makes me want to pull my hair out, I can’t even imagine how it must be for you all.
Keep up the good work joeIt's aggravating. She doesn't show it to anyone else, and I don't talk about it except to my buddy in Kentucky, but there's plenty of days she'll just cry. I know what you mean. Ever since I lost my daughter there has been an ever present pain in not being able to help her when she was in so much pain. I miss her so much. It's aggravating. I'm gonna tell you from experience..... the right doctor will know what to do. My mom spent 9 days in the hospital and one of her docs basically told her "we've all got to die of something". An infectious disease doc just happened to hear a conversation about mom and came to see her. She wanted to look at mom's blood under a microscope. She diagnosed her and put her on the right meds. The whole panel of docs couldn't see past the ovarian cancer.Yeah, interesting responses imo. I'm not against herbal stuff, but I don't think that's a smart answer.
